Solidaridad - Playa del Carmen

One of the areas in Mexico experiencing the greatest  economic development in the country is the municipality of Solidaridad. This location is enjoying a boom in tourism, with visitors coming from all over the world.

Playa del Carmen is a favorite vacation destination for Mexicans and international visitors alike. It is located inside the tourist area known as «Riviera Maya». Cancun International Airport

Only 45 km from the International Airport of Cancun, one of the busiest hubs in the continent and with the largest number of direct flights abroad.

It is the second busiest airport in Mexico, only after the International Airport of Mexico City, but the most important in Mexico and Latin America by international passengers.

The airport was remodeled and expanded to become the 2nd busiest airport in the country and the one that serves the most international passengers in the country.

Cancun city

Only 60 km from Playa del Carmen lies the city of Cancun, a favorite Caribbean destination for international travelers.

Cancun is a true jewel of the Caribbean.  It is located in the state of Quintana Roo, in the southeast region of Mexico. It is in the northeast corner of the Yucatan Peninsula, north of the Rivera Maya. Its name comes from the Mayan language and means snake nest. It is a Place of exuberant beauty whose wonderful beaches, natural and cultural wealth enchant its visitors.

This great city in Quintana Roo, is the most important tourist center in Mexico and one of the most recognized worldwide. There are many reasons why Cancun is popular as a tourist destination: its spectacular beaches with turquoise waters, excellent hotels with a wide range of amenities, gourmet restaurants, vibrant nightlife, good shopping, and archaeological sites. Tulum

Located 40 km from the city of Tulum, a natural paradise surrounded by ancestral cultures.

Tulum is one of the most important archaeological sites of the Riviera Maya. In the antiquity it had the name of Zamá that means dawn, the current name, Tulum, means «enclosure or wall». For the ancient Mayans, this city played a predominant role in the maritime and land trade of the area, as well as functioning as an astronomical observatory and as a defensive system. Currently captivates everyone who visits it, this Mayan city was built facing the sea, on a cliff where you can appreciate the turquoise tones of the Caribbean Sea in all its splendor.

Mexican Caribbean

Framed in the Mexican Caribbean is one of the most spectacular beach landscapes in the world.

Yucatan Peninsula

The Yucatan peninsula is the northern portion of Mesoamerica, which divides the Gulf of Mexico from the Caribbean Sea in the extreme southeast of North America and the northern part of Central America, with a territory of approximately 125,000 km². It is integrated to the north by the Mexican states of Yucatan, Quintana Roo and Campeche, and to the south by Belize and northern Guatemala (Petén). For the purposes of this article, the peninsular boundary demarcations are: to the southwest, the Laguna de Términos in the state of Campeche; to the northwest the estuary of Celestún and the port of Sisal in the state of Yucatán; to the northeast, Cabo Catoche in the state of Quintana Roo; to the south, the folded belt of the department of Petén, Guatemala; to the southeast, bordering the Maya mountains, the littoral of the Gulf of Honduras. It is properly the territory that occupied during the Spanish domination, from the beginning of the XVI century until the beginning of the XIX, the General Captaincy of Yucatan.
